The live demo is the full ClientOS admin and client portal, filled with a sample agency’s clients, orders and invoices. Your login arrives by email and works for 3 days.

Sample data, not a real agency.
Our bias, up front. We make ClientOS, so it is listed first. Every other claim links to the vendor's own pricing page or a review site, and the comparison table keeps all 8 rows where Wayfront beats us.
The problem
Why agencies look for a Wayfront alternative
Wayfront is a solid hosted portal for productized agencies, with good support. Agencies who start looking elsewhere usually hit one of three walls.
The bill grows with the team
Base includes 5 seats and Pro 10. Every extra person adds $18–20 a month on top of $99–299.
The good parts cost extra
The API is +$240–300/mo on Pro. Custom templates, client coworkers and Slack alerts are Pro-only.
Client data on their server
Everything lives in one US region of Wayfront’s cloud, with no way to host it yourself.
If none of those bother you, staying on Wayfront is a fine answer. If one does, read on.
TL;DR
The best Wayfront alternatives at a glance
Short answer
The best Wayfront alternative is ClientOS if you want to own the portal and pay once (we make it, so weigh that), and ManyRequests if you want a hosted tool that works like Wayfront. SuiteDash gives the most features for the money, Assembly the most polished client experience, Agency Handy the most seats in its base price, and Plutio suits solo freelancers.

ClientOS
A self-hosted client portal for productized service agencies. It does what Wayfront does: a service store, checkout, orders, invoices, subscriptions, messages, tickets and a white-label portal. The difference is that it runs on your own server and you pay for it once.
There is no seat limit, so hiring person number eleven costs nothing. Your clients' data never passes through anyone else's servers. ClientOS was also built for leaving Wayfront: its importer brings your history over and shows a dry run before it writes anything.
- Pay once, keep it forever
- Unlimited staff and clients
- Stripe, PayPal and 3 crypto gateways
- Built-in importer for Wayfront
- No Zapier, Make or public API yet
- No time tracking
- New, so no third-party reviews yet
The numbers
What three years cost
5 seats, $99/mo × 36
10 seats, $249/mo × 36
$1,790 once + a $20/mo server × 36
List prices on Oct 25, 2026. Server is an estimate for a 4 GB VPS. A sixth person on Wayfront Base adds $648 over three years; on ClientOS it adds nothing. Work out your own team’s cost →
“Some more in-built automations would be great… limited customization in certain views and workflows.”
What ClientOS does about it
- Orders move on their own: briefs, hand-overs, revisions, auto-approve
- Rename statuses, menu items and every client-facing word
- A help desk with response targets, no Zendesk needed

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Wayfront alternative?
It depends on why you are leaving. To own the portal and pay once with no seat limit, ClientOS (which we make). For a hosted tool that works like Wayfront, ManyRequests or Agency Handy. For the most features for the money, SuiteDash. For a polished client experience, Assembly. For a solo freelancer, Plutio.
Is Wayfront the same as SPP.co (Service Provider Pro)?
Yes. SPP.co renamed itself Wayfront on 12 February 2026. The company, team, product and pricing stayed the same, spp.co redirects to wayfront.com, and existing [username].spp.co workspaces keep working.
How much does Wayfront cost, and is there a free plan?
Base is $129/mo, or $99/mo billed yearly, with 5 team seats. Pro is $299/mo, or $249/mo yearly, with 10. Extra seats are $18–20 a month each, and the Integration API is a +$240–300/mo add-on on Pro. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and no free plan.
What is the cheapest Wayfront alternative?
By entry price: Assembly has a free plan for 5 contacts, and SuiteDash and Plutio start at $19/mo (Plutio’s Core plan stops at 9 active clients). For a team past 10 people, a one-time license such as ClientOS usually costs less over a few years than any per-seat plan.
Is there a self-hosted Wayfront alternative?
Yes. ClientOS runs on your own server, in any country, and is paid for once ($990, $1,790 or $2,690, plus a server at about $10–25/mo). We make it. Wayfront and the other tools in this guide are hosted only.
Does Wayfront have an API?
Yes, as an add-on: the Integration API costs +$300/mo, or +$240/mo billed yearly, on Pro, and is included on Plus. Wayfront also has 40+ integrations, including Zapier, Make and Slack. ClientOS has no public API yet.
Is ClientOS a drop-in replacement for Wayfront?
For most productized agencies, yes: services, checkout, orders, invoices, subscriptions, messages, tickets and a white-label portal all carry over. It is not one if you depend on Zapier or Make, the Wayfront API, time tracking or a multi-language portal. ClientOS does not have those today.
How do I move my data from Wayfront?
ClientOS has an importer built for Wayfront. It brings clients, orders, messages, invoices and files, runs a dry run first that shows exactly what it will create, and writes nothing until you apply. On the Agency package we run the whole move with you.
What happens to my clients’ subscriptions in Stripe?
They live in your Stripe account, not in Wayfront, so they do not disappear when you leave. Connect the same Stripe account to ClientOS and plan the cut-over date with us so no renewal is charged twice.
Do I need to be technical to self-host?
No. You need a Linux VPS (2–4 GB RAM), a domain and a Resend account. One command installs everything. On the Pro and Agency packages we install it on your server and hand it over working.
Is ClientOS really cheaper than Wayfront?
Over time, usually. Wayfront Pro billed yearly is about $8,964 over three years. ClientOS Pro is $1,790 once plus a server, about $2,500 over the same three years, with no seat limit. If you only need Wayfront Base for a few months, Wayfront costs less.
Is this site run by Wayfront?
No. wayfront.org is published by the team behind ClientOS, one of the products compared here. We are not affiliated with Wayfront or its owner, Client Solutions Ltd. We list where Wayfront is the better choice and link every price to its source so you can check it.
